Problem

The children are poor and the fees for visa applications and departure taxes are beyond their means to pay. CCCI has to find the support to make it possible to pay all the documentation fees and other expenses that arise when a child leaves their home country. There is even an extra fee if they leave without an escort! Most do not live in the city of departure and must travel in and spend money to do so. They depend on others for these funds.

The Gift

Your gift will enable these children to get to the embassies to meet with officials to get their medical visas-which may take multiple trips to accomplish. They frequently need to travel to nearby cities for additional testing to be done prior to departure-again something that your gift will make possible. The ability to travel to the city of departure and have a place to stay while waiting on the aircraft with their family will make an anxious family feel much better about the coming separation. Knowing that all of the pesky details are paid for and taken care of will ease minds and calm fears for parents and children alike. We realize that not saying you are paying to a particular Thing is not politically correct-so we're using a shepherd's purse as a symbol.
