Problem

Children are born with defects in their spine or with clubbed feet, or some are burned in accidents with cooking fires and the scarring makes their feet and legs immobile. Without some means of mobility, they are doomed to literally crawling through life-and will never be able to attend school or to hold a job. They will frequently be forced by the family to beg--and become the "bread winner" for the family--causing an upside-down family dynamic.

The Gift

Your gift of $25 will purchase a set of crutches for a child that will enable them to attend school and learn a means of making a living. If a wheelchair is necessary, we will try to get one that fits the individual's needs and the situation--in town or in the country.
